Immolation isn't Thrash Metal. There's really no comparison to be made.

As for iron Bound, color me impressed. This truly is the spiritual successor to Horrorscope, and I think it's way catchier. I was singing the songs to myself after just the first listen, it really grabs you by the balls. I don't feel there's a bad song on the whole album. Buy it, burn it, steal it, just fucking hear it, it's everything you want from Thrash metal.

I was saying that since it got the Album Of The Year tag...

It's REALLY hard to stop listening to this album. It's virtually flawless.

God, 2010 is really shaping up to be an incredible year for metal.

This album is so bad ass I have hard time descibing it! It just slays all around. The riffs, the songwriting and the solos and everything just kicks ass!

Slay is a perfect word, but shred usually describes overkill better.

Hey folks, long time visitor to MR's but have never bothered to post anything in the fourms until now.Anyway,I just picked this album up at Fye,only to find out that apparently I have gotten a bad disc.It does play on my cd player in my car,but is so damn scratchy and distorted its pretty much unlistenable, and it won't rip onto my pc at all.I did a quick google search and it seems there are quite a few other people who have gotten bad discs. They had another copy so I'll go exchange it tomorrow, but I'm expecting it to be screwed as well.A shame, from what little I could tell it sounded like it fucking kills.

Odd, the version I downloaded from Rhapsody before my pre-order came in was really weird sounding too. Lots of crappy fuzz and background noise. But my actual copy plays just fine.. I wonder how Rhapsody gets their music online, maybe they got one of those defective copies if they do indeed upload it directly from a disc.

Picked this up on the weekend .. and it quickly grew into a favorite! I think I like it even better than Horrorscope.

I like how when you first listen to the album the first half kills and the second half is good but not as good. Then you listen to it more and the second half is friggin amazing! This album just gets better with every listen.

Well,I took mine back and got another one and it wouldn't play in my car,on my PS3 or rip onto my desktop either. However it plays fine in my truck and ripped perfectly onto my laptop. After I ripped it I copied the files to my desktop and they play fine.I'm just happy I can listen to this mofo!!!! :dio:
