By that logic you should abandon Deathspell Omega for Grisey and Meshuggah for Steve Reich.
Just because they're different genres? That would normally apply, but the fact is DsO are fucking way better than LOG could ever be, a fact which I'm sure many here would agree with. Unlike Meshuggah, who are an incredible band in their own genre.

I'm just saying that not listening to one band because this OTHER band is a whole lot more complex or something is stupid. I agree that Meshuggah are brilliant, but Reich is more so. And btw, DsO and LoG are trying to be very different things, and both manage to do what they want to.
And enough with the fucking ad homs! Dismissing my musical opinion because I like two bands you think are shit is bullcrap.
