This bands' melodies are some of the most cringe-inducing things I've ever heard in my life. This crap should be called Douche-Chill Metal.

Ugh, memories from last summer, hearing "Cease the Day" all the time on the radio...outright terrible song.

It is heavy metal. With pop in it but it's still heavy metal.

It was probably unintentional on the band's part, but a lot of the melodic stuff on this album does come across as quite power metal-y at times. The chorus of Beast and the Harlot for example.

Anyway, this is the only decent thing the band ever did as far as I'm concerned. A 70 for me at very best.

Actually, there's so much crap in the power metal department that, with a better singer, it would have been A LOT better. :P
