Its the way you present opinions that annoys people. To say you dont like Avenged Sevenfold you dont have to all Stefan gay or emo.

You: I dont like that band how can you you fag its not power metal!

Anyone else: I don like that band becuase of its fake power metal mixed with Guns'N'Roses approach.

See that is my whole freaking point, is when people hear something "gay" they say it is Power Metal. It isn't Power Metal, come on. Wolf isn't gay, neither is Tad Morose or Brainstorm, hell even Sonta Arctica isn't gay, Nocturnal Rites isn't either.

When you guys start associating band like Avenged Sevenfold with PM and everyone knows they are gay then they assume the entire genre is gay, when it is done right it is Heavy, Dark and fucking good. Like I said, I am sorry I ever dissed Stratovarious if we are going to call ex emo/core bands Power Metal because their singer has to sing clean now.

This band represents everything that is wrong with Heavy Metal. They should do a tour with Edguy and call it Poser Fest. This music is for every heavy metal fan who yearns to be cool and be accepted by the main stream. THey can take their emo-ness and go straight to hell. Oh and on an extremely shallow level, they all look like fags.

actually you represent everything that's wrong with young metalheads pretending to be trOOer than trOO while they weren't even born when the music they think is cool to pretend is the only good one was even recorded...
I'll bet in 25/30 years you'd call Edguy & A7X classic metal bands and call the modern (contemporary) acts filthy gay posers... :roll: or you'll find another guy who'll be just as you are today... but I don't see it happening since you'll probably have given up on metal to listen to some Kenny G or Mariah Carey :twisted:

Actually I think it is Shameful to put Edguy in with these guys, even their latest shit is HM, this maybe it is on some level, but vocals have a lot to do with Metal as well.

I might agree with Melodic heavy metal but they sound nothing like Masterplan or Freedom Call so I don't know if I can go that far.

How about just an "abortion" I hope goes away?

It is an abortion, to call it Heavy, Power or Trad Metal is just a disgrace to what Metal really is. Like it, that is cool, I don't care but don't call it Trad or Heavy Metal, don't disgrace what other great bands have done. and HT, you are fucked to equate Edguy with this pile of shit.
