Sounds like it was a real treat! I nearly was able to attend the tour they had back in 2001 with Tool, forever frustrated at missing out on that one. I've watched some King Crimson live performance footage from the Belew era and undoubtedly they are less flamboyant without him. The set list sounds like a good balance of their various periods, like you I'm more unfamiliar with their later material, but they nicely mixed that it with the classic cuts off of Red, Discipline, Larks Tongue, etc.

They did play it! Although I had to check a setlist to be sure, as I said their later material is less memorable for me than the classics.
