I can't believe what I just ... I'm lost for words.

This is just... how does a band that used to be as amazing as they were turn into this? How does a band that can create an album like A Predator's Portrait turn out... THIS!?

WHAT THE FUCK! I've never seen such a ridiculous downfall -- not even In Flames (and Come Clarity was a bit redeeming).

wtf. These guys are a totally different band now. Crappy too, I might add.

At least we still have A Predator's Portrait.

Yeah they're basically like... incredibly generic hard rock with screaming now >.<

Naa...I am not worried about it. Remember this is the single people and Soilwork has always had a couple softer more melodic songs on all of there albums after PP. I actually like this song better than most of there other softer songs. Really good chorus.

Anyway I am expecting most of the album to be a lot heavier. I am hoping a mix between PP and NBC

I've only heard and own Natural Born Chaos which I actually quite enjoy, so I dunno where they came from or where they went after NBC, but this song compared to even NBC is complete watered down shit.

Hahahahaha! What's with the trendy rap-metalish thing with a touch of emo thrown in for bad measure? Hahahahaha! All I can really do is laugh at this one. Obviously not as loudly as when I first heard Moronica's "St. Wanker," but this is still pretty goofy.

This really is a gut-buster, hahahahaha!

They probably wear their baseball caps sideways, too.

What wieners.

There's nothing really wrong with it, in a modern sense. Not that Soilwork were ever an amazing band, but they seem to have just enough good songs on each album to tide them over. The new one'll doubtless be the same, as Metal Marc mentioned.

Their last two had good songs!? o.O

their first 3 albums were about as good as melodeath gets and then it all went downhill when their singer stopped screaming and started doing tough guy growly vocals and they started cutting down the amount of guitar solos and interesting riffs in favour of lame synths

And now they're playing shitty radio rock. This band is pretty much dead.

Still whining? They've been this band now for three fucking albums, this'll be the fourth. Move on, people. Stop complaining.

Good song, though! :dio:

It's been more like a downward slope.

Yeah, Soilwork's removal of interesting music from their albums has been a gradual thing... as far as style goes the biggest gap would be in the between the chainheart machine and a predator's portrait

Nah, I still think the biggest gap is between NBC and FN5. That's when they switched genres (and started to go downhill - sure, I liked Predator's Portrait more than NBC, but NBC was still a really good album and not a cop out).

Soilworks first 4 albums all slay...and then there last 2 are really Average and this song is one of the worst they've put out :lame:

This sounds even more mainstream then FN5 and STD

There last awesome album was NBC.

Though I've always been somewhat disinterested in their debut, Chainheart Machine, A Predator's Portrait and my personal fav, Natural Born Chaos were excellent releases. I did get some enjoyment out of the last two with a few barely passable songs (better live than on CD) but yeah, this pretty much follows the trend of the worst parts of the last two releases. Strangely enough, the chorus was actually decent but the rest of the song was, well, awful. I really hope the rest of the CD is better but I doubt it. Some one sort of already said this, but I'll be even more specific: how does a band create something as brilliant as the opening to Millionflame and then create this video. One wonders.
