You know I was unimpressed with The Dead World at first, but now I really dig it. It's a lot more mellow, which threw me off at first, but the songwriting is great.

And when the hell did they make Deadsoul one word? It used to be Dead Soul Tribe.

Lame. :lame:

I have heard the name of this band before but have not heard there music ever. What other bands would you say they sound like or what kind of music do they play? there new record sounds like it could be interesting

Occasionally they can sound like Tool, like on "Feed Pt. 1: Stone By Stone;" but then on a song like "Regret" (my favorite song by them), I hear Jethro Tull. And even those comparisons are somewhat of a stretch.

Dead Soul Tribe are really pretty unique. Check these songs out:

DEADSOUL TRIBE PACK (5 songs)

"Powertrip" from Dead Soul Tribe
"Feed Pt. 1: Stone By Stone" and "Regret" from A Murder of Crows
"Spiders And Flies" from The January Tree
"Some Sand Advice" from The Dead World

These should give any of you a good idea if you'd like them or not.
