Anyone around for these shows? The MD and NJ shows with Suspyre will likely kick a shit ton of ass!

I'll be at the show on the 9th in MA! I can't wait. It's gonna be killer.

Just bought tickets to the NJ show. I never even heard of the NJ Proghouse. It is 2.3 miles from my house. This is going to fucking kick ass. Zero Hour are on my short list of bands to see before I die. I just emailed them to see if Riverside is ever coming there since they have a pic of their guitarist on their homepage.

I have never heard anything by Suspyre. I have heard they are good but dont know who to compare them too. Any info?

Suspyre are a great band, dude! I first posted about them here:

Then Ian reviewed them:

Then Reverend Clayton joined the board (he's the vocalist), and has since shared these with us:

Some of the MySpace songs sound like ass due to the way MySpace compresses the songs when they're uploaded. Anyway, check them out. Order their CD. The Silvery Image is one of the best metal albums I've heard in a long, long time.

Nice! They have a new album almost done, should be out this year, unless they get a record deal.

Let me know what you think of it once you get it. "Serpent I Am" still kicks my ass every time!

Their new album is pretty cool. It sounded kind of samey to Towers of Avarice, but I've only listened to it once and now I'm waiting to get the actual CD :P

howdy folks...

The new album is coming along great. I'm actually hoping to pick up an unmastered version tomorrow. The mastering should be happening shortly and as far as a release...I can't be sure of that. We're talking to Lance King of Nightmare records and if all goes well look for a release in early 2007. Don't hold me to that though...but we're getting there. I promise you it will be worth the wait.

We can't wait for the shows and yes...they WILL KICK ASS!.

I saw this show loast night and it was amazing. Suspyre was incredible and absolutely impressive. Rev. Clayton is one of the best young frontmen I have ever seen. Impressive pipes man. The whole bad was sick tight. Zero hour came on next and fucking crushed. Totally incredible. The new singer is real good adn pulls off the deep Towers of Avarice songs and the new high pitched songs with ease. That band is something to behold live. The place I saw the show at was a 200 year old 1-room schoolhouse that holds 70 people. It was probably the best show I have ever seen. I expext real big things from Suspyre in the future. They are really that good.

We had a blast Sunday night and can't wait for one more with Zero Hour next sunday at The Hook in Brooklyn, NY. Thank you for the kind words...it really does mean a lot. Zero Hour is definitely a show you don't want to miss...I'm just happy to have the chance to share the stage with them. Hope to see you all in Brooklyn.

I wish we could have gotten on that show with them. We want to come up to Boston very badly...I have a friend at Berkely. It's going to be a great show either way. Go Zero Hour!
