Ya true, but I doubt Jon Schaffer has much to do with this since it's released on Century Media which Schaffer left. It's probably just a record company cash-in, not that I really mind this time :)

Just as long as they do a proper DVD out of it.

Fuck me off if they fuck up the track listings like they did with the greatest hits album. I mean Angels Holocaust and Stormrider on different discs!! Wtf????

If this DVD is released with great image and 5.1 or DTS sound ... then it will be awesome. And let's see the video editing too. I bought Death On The Road and had a huge headache during the first few songs, because someone thought it would be a great idea to show close-ups of ALL 6 band members .... PER SECOND. I mean, every 0.15s the image changed, I almost had seizures watching that.

But ... let's hope it's well shot, and the sound is loud and clear. Then it's gonna be the greatest DVD ever

By the way ... when will the new HALFORD DVD come out? They're going to release his Rock In Rio performance in DVD !! I was there and man ... there's NO WAY one can say that Maiden topped him that day.

So, 2 killer DVDs in a few months ... guess I'll have to change my pants twice.

Heh yeah, that album is a joke. You can really tell it has nothing to do with the band, I mean check the track listing... It's like you have some mixed tracks from the first album and Alive in Athens then someone just said "fuck it" and put the very first two or three songs from each album on there. Check for yourself, it's embarrassing. Atleast get someone with an interest in the band to do the Greatest Hits collection.

However it also proves something, anyone could just pick random Iced Earth tracks and mix them together and make a great Best of album, they have such a great catalogue :)

Sweet! I'm surprised Century Media rested on their laurels for this for so long. I can't wait to get this, at the very least, it will be better than that stupid Gettysburg DVD they released. It had great sound, but no real reason to buy it.
