Awesome band! A little misstep with Eye II Eye, but Unbreakable was great. I look forward to this one.

They were great, but after Savage Amusement and Crazy World I lost the interest in the band. The tracks I hear of Face The Heat, Pure instinct, Eye to eye and Unbreakable didn't made me change that opinion. I always hope Scorpions return some day with an album of the level of Savage Amusement or Crazy World, perhaps better as Love at first sting. (Expecting the level of Blackout, Animal magnetism or Lovedrive is dream too much), hoping the next album will mean a return to the good times.

(I'm tied with Scorps too for sentimental reasons: the first song that my wife and me danced together in my wedding was not a waltz, was "Still loving you", my wife's favourite song)

Would "Rock you like a Hurricane" be appropriate these days?

There are some awesome songs on those albums! I've never heard Pure Instinct, though. Still, songs like "Alien Nation" (Face The Heat), "Mind Like A Tree" (Eye II Eye) and "New Generation" (Unbreakable) are flat out ass-kicking tunes! Those are just my favorites from each album. Like I said, Eye II Eye was more of an experimental album, while the other two are still great rock albums. Different from the 80's albums, but still damn good.
