Yeah they mentioned this at the (awesomes!) gig earlier this month. I get the feeling they'll do anything in their power to keep making money without writing a new record, which is probably for the best.

Sounds cool. I was never really into them. But seein Dee Snider on MTV Cribs the other day enlightened me that he's not such a fag after all. A real family man. His wife's talkative though. His son plays a pink set of drums. WTF?!

I think that the Tran-siberian Orchestra already did this with 3 albums. If Blind Guardian or Gammaray said they were making a Christmas album it might cause some curiosity, but TS I'll pass.

And TSO did it very good as far as a TS christmas album I don't know be interesting if they can pull it off but a few people aren't going to take them seriously with this hell a few people don't take them seriously period.

... and why a christmas record really ?
I mean christmas songs are already annoying enough the way they are and mostly due to the frequency they're played everywhere. I simply can not understand WHY a hardrock/earlymetal group wants to make a christmas album. If they wanted to make more money they could at least do a cover album with their major influences or their current favourite songs. Ah well, let's just wait and see.

You're over-thinking it. A Twisted Sister Christmas album is completely absurd, and downright silly. This is probably exactly why they did it. Dee's never been one to take himself too seriously.

Someone should do a metal Hanukkah album. Varg can do guest vocals. :P
