Paul Di'anno - Nice voice, but a bit of a dickhead. A money hungry dickhead.

Anyone else but me thinks he will butcher those classics? I mean his voice doesn't sound much like it used to these days...

I would be interested if he did covers of Bruce era songs, just as a "what if" scenario.

That actually would be cool. Wow, he's re-doing songs he already did with Iron Maiden....hurrah

Imagine a NWOBHM-ish version of run to the hills, aces high (got it right this time!), flight of icarus, the trooper, only the good die young. He could totally do them in the style of Killers-era maiden!

Useless money grabbing novelty. Otherwise, what would be the point for it to be oh so limited, soon to be cult?

Yeah, because a CD limited to 150 is a total money grabbing novelty.

He's still going around with the tag 'former Maidonian' even though he's left the band like what...23-24 years ago? I think he should just move on with his life and do something else. Every Maiden fan knows of him and appreciates him for his work, including myself. But then again, we're not stupid enough to fall for some re-recordings of classics. If he's doing covers (from Bruce-Blaze era), I'd experiment with it.

On the other hand, someone here (sorry I forgot who it was) mentioned that he's vocal abilities and voice isn't the same anymore. Another reason for me not to bother about this release. He'd probably screw up.

Live with it, Paul. You blew it. You had the chance and you blew it. Stop ripping us off.

He has done that. You can find them on the 22,763,920 Iron Maiden tribute Cd's that are floating around.
