'With this album, I think, we have widened the range of the BLIND GUARDIAN universe more than we have ever done before. Comparing it with a compass 'Fly' would be west, 'Skalds and Shadows' east, 'This Will Never End' south and 'The Edge' would be north. Does that mean anything? No?
No.
What is means is that bands like Persuader and Savage Circus are what Blind Guardian used to be ike before the last album...does that mean anything?

I don't know about Persuader, but I LOVE that Savage Circus album, but holy shit is it a COMPLETE rip-off album! There is no way in hell the intention was anything but Let's Write A Blind Guardian Album. For that I lose a little respect, but the CD is just too damn good for me to give a fuck!
As for this new album, I do feel like it's going to have a more rock sound. That is what happens. People get older and it's just a part of life, they mellow out. Not everyone does it, but a lot of times those that continue to force-write what they're known for, the music suffers. I don't mind when bands change as long as the music is good. Sometimes it saddens me, but I try and come around. I think this album is going to be amazing. Seriously.
And WTF? September?!?! Come on! It'd better leak soon. Haha.
