No offence to the fans of the band, I know there are a lot here, but this sounds exactly like the million other power metal songs I've heard . What is it that people find appealing here? I just don't get it.

Good Band. Nothing new. I doubt they'll get huge success. Good Luck anyway

Uh...people find it appealing because it's good. Sure, they're not original, but it's done damn well. Isn't that more important? Originality is a rare thing, my friend.

Right, it's good stuff. This is actually one of their weaker tracks IMO. They also just got back from the video shoot in LA.

Did they even remix the tracks so they'll have a consistency with the new tracks?

As much as they could. The four old tracks had a couple things added to them, but not enough to notice any real change. When Bill came into the band he re-did some of the guitar solos. Chris was also constantly reworking the older songs while he was writing new material. So yes, it sounds consistent. The album sounds very impressive. I believe this is Eric Rutan's first Power Metal project, and he did an amazing job, except on vocals IMO.

I'm not saying everything should be original but this is just a dime a dozen. If these guys are the ones that will bring power metal to the US, they could have just taken a random pm record and give it a new look and sell it that way, that's how unoriginal this is. Shouldn't the next big power metal band (for some) supposed to sound a little different than the previous one?

I don't mean to spoil anyones party, I'm just trying to understand the fuss made about this band in this site. Maybe so I can enjoy a few stuff of this whole metal genre that I'm completely let down in every shot I take.

Not all of it. There not bad, just probably the weakest part on the album.

Well, sure they're not original, but in my book they've definitely shot to the top of the pile. They're a great band, at least the EP is great, I should say. Much better than the norm. The hype is well-deserved.

But they're killer on the EP! What happened?

No effects I guess? They just don't have the punch I thought they'd have. Don't get me wrong though, Mike can sing.

Hmmm...I'll reserve judgement until I hear it, but I hope they didn't rush things. Too many bands do that for a record deal.

If you say Cellador three times fast, metalNESS appears.

"Hey, there goes Elvis! Yo, King!" —metalNESS

i just really like the energy Cellador put into their songs, plus I'm a sucker for speed and over the top solos. They just do something completely unoriginal better than a lot of other bands.

So, MetalSNES, were the two songs from the EP that on the main tracklist (not the two bonustracks) not re-recorded? Is it just remasters of the old versions?
