This band doesn't get enough attention so I wrote this news bit up. For those that haven't heard them, download these songs:

FROZEN NILE
BOGIE IN A COAL HOLE
SIRENS FROM THE UNDERLAND
STRAYED MOPPET

The first track is from Handmade Essence, the other three are from Woodland Prattlers. Musically they're not so unique, but add the visuals and the lyrical theme and you've one very unique band. Plus, they do have their own sound creeping into the mix.

I absolutely love this band!

They're almost like a soundtrack to a Tim Burton movie, you know? Very, very good. I'm really looking forward to their new album.

last i heard was that they had split up, so this is excellent news, great band.

What the fuck? The guitarist's name is Lex Plotnikoff, the bassist's name is Evan Izotoff, the drummer's name is Vladimir Ermakoff and the old drummer's name was Tom Tokmakoff. Do they just add off to last names for the fuck of it?

it's just like many Swedish names. When you see the line up of the Swedish football team, 9-10 of the 11 players have (s)son in the end of their name.

like every italian player has an "i" at the end of his name, every greek either "is" or "as", finnish have "nen", bulgaria has "ov".
