Volcano sucked in my opinion. I don't get how so many people drool all over it. Maybe this one will be okay but I'm not holding my breath.

They did use the drummer, why the hell not the singer. I thank them for Nemesis Divina and Dark Medieval Times but now they can go to hell as far as I'm concerned.

Nah, they'd use God Forbid's. That'd put the BLACK in Black Metal.

Volcano was definitely going off into Roadrunner Runner/Hot Topic territory. You guys had better watch out!

And remember, download the album first, then buy the re-release 6 months to a year later. Don't get screwed by Roadrunner.

I don't care about troones. It's just that I don't get what's good about them.

Neither do I. I downloaded Nemesis Divina and didn't see what the big deal was. Maybe I'm still to newbish for this kind of black metal.

Are you one of those guys who threw a hissy fit because they had Slipknot's drummer fill in for a tour?

I can understand not liking the new material, I don't care too much for it myself, but jesus christ, the guy did a fine job.

No no not at all. I have actually said here before that I think Slipknot's drummer is very good. But I don't get why they had to fill the drummers spot with a big name like that. What's the point ?

Oh, that. Satyr has said before that he wants black metal to get more exposure and all that heresy, surely he saw this as an opportunity to get Satyricon's music out to more people. I know, what a sellout or something.

Oh I get it. He said something like "We're gonna teach the Americans how to play bm".

I know Americans do know how to play it and they play it fucking good.

Roadrunner Records U.K. has announced the signing of leading Norwegian black metal band SATYRICON into the fold for all territories, excluding North America and Norway.

looool

yeah.. leading band in terms of selling out with crappy music to a wider audience.

Quote:
Their progressive and creative outlook has enabled SATYRICON to push the boundaries of the black metal genre, setting a new standard and developing the field beyond its traditional parameters. As a result, SATYRICON are now one of the most respected and influential bands in black metal.

double lol

basicly, you just take a well known band, fuck 'em hard in the ass, and voila!!! they have now pushed the boundaries and set a new standard at the same time.

for fucks sake!? :D .. who writes this kind of ignorant ass-liking bullshit!?!?

... and the only one that respects them are their new fanbase of kids who doesn't know shit. no wonder they are the "most respected" of all bm bands
