I have tried....and tried...and tried to like Tiamat after "deeper kind...." and I just can't do it. To me, it has just been boring Goth-rock ever since. "Amanethes" was better....some of the old Tiamat was breathed into that album. Still, I dearly miss the days of "Clouds" and "Wildhoney."

However, as with all of their albums, I will give this new one a fair listen.

Agreed. How much old Tiamat was in "Amanethes", anyway?

Actually, not a lot......there were a few more aggressive tunes (hints of "clouds").....and Johan used his growling vocals in a couple of songs.....but 75% of the album was more of the goth-rock.

This new song does nothing for me. For shame.
