He does have that sort of "apathetic" thing going on (kinda like Chino Moreno, another one of my favorite singers), but he has a fantastic voice. His voice does seem to have improved over time, so I dunno, you be the judge. He sounds pretty awesome in the chorus of this song.

Have y'all checked Ghost Brigade out? Similar sort of music, slightly more Melodeathy, harsh vocals, and less repetitive. Reviewed their first ages ago, new one soon.

TGCD was a killer album, and the vocalist is fucking awesome, fitting Katatonia's style perfectly.
