The dude from TT Quick is a solid replacement. And U.D.O. has always been better than Accept, in my opinion. But whatever. No problem with having them both in the game.

I dunno .. on a scale of 0 (Nobody) to 10 (Udo) I'd give that guy about a 6. Sounds more like a watered down Bon Scott than a watered down Udo.

Considering Udo has one of the worst voices in metal ever, that's probably a compliment. Bon Scott sucked, too. Lucky for them, they fit the music.

Either way, TT Quick was probably a bit before your time (and by "your," I mean everyone here), but they were a great band. Never made it to the big leagues, though.

But don't judge the guy on rehearsal clips or whatever.

Dude is good.

I listened to the clips (all are from pre-2000 I am guessing so his voice may have deteriorated somewhat). He has a good voice .. sure .. but Udo has a unique voice, which this guy doesn't really have.

My comment resulted from playing Udo singing Balls to the Wall back to back with Dude singing Balls to the Wall .. multiple times .. and what stood out is that he lacks the piercing punch, and also sick inflections and phrasing that Udo can produce. Udo has a better Metal voice.

All of T.T. Quicks albums are solid and if anyone listens to their early stuff you will hear some UDO similarities. I wish T.T. Quick would reunite. :dio:
