typical thing to happen for a veteran band like Rotting Christ, they arent new to being opposed to being on festivals. I remember back in 07 when I believe it was them and Dissection who were barred with opening for shitty Megadeth in Greece. Hardly anything new a lot of metal bands go through the same thing I imagine

i think it was sometime in the mid 90s when some sanitor in the US made a motion to ban rotting christ albums from the US because the name was insultive to the religious views of the average american. I am greek and at least here the band has no focus outside teh metal community and thus nobody cares about the name. So we are lucky to have rotting christ concerts like 3-4 times a year. Keep the black cult alive as Sakis says.
