LOFL. 400$? All right they are Led Zeppelin one of the most influential band ever, but right now they are a band of old bastards looking for some more money for their last doses.

Dago: i think this concert's proceeds went to Ahmet Erdegun's (Atlantic co-founder) charity, somrthing about music scholarships.

They didnt do the show for the money, I really don't think they need any more after the launching of the Mother Ship package, and them letting Cadillac use some of their songs, plus the fact that their album sales have sky rocketed %500.

The show was done for charity, for the Ahmet Eregund fund. The founder of Atlantic.

So yes the tickets were expensive, but at least it was for charity, that Zeppelin made money indirectly off the strength of their catalog is irrelevant. Zeppelin fucking rocks, they still rock, and no band today aside from Iron Maiden, can claim that.

I saw a short video on tv about the concert and they sounded GREAT!
But the asses from Warner are deleting all of the vids from youtube that have anything to do with Led Zeppelin at O2 arena.

Apparently a lot of people didn't think $400 is too much...that vid said 20 million people were trying to get 20,000 tickets.

I wouldn't mind paying $400 to Led Zep. Chance of a life time.

My uncle went and saw page and plant in the late 80's. They were booed off the stage after playing an hour set, no zeppelin and no encore. must have been disapointing. He said it was the worst show he's been to. And he saw yes in the early 90's (not that they would have been bad, just not what people were expecting either.)
