Anyway, I wrote both requested reviews and even took pleasure out of it. Some of you guys should try.

Hmmm I'd like to come back but I'd be one of those who would only be able to do 2-4 a month depending how busy I am.

Fuck it, if I'm going to apply for the news editing job I might as well attempt to write a review or two and see how it goes. I've got exams till the 27th though, so I'll get on that next week.

Here's an idea. Just create a fake reviewer name "Johnny" that is an alias for "guest review" and put someone in charge of collecting them and deciding what's trash and what isn't. At the end of the year it will be a joke that the reader's choice awards, or whatever they are called, will be "johnny's" top albums of the year.

Any ideas for a shitty record to review? Not to my tastes is not shitty, remember, just something poorly written and executed would work. I want to simulate the experience of doing two reviews in a week, so I'm gonna pick something I know I'll like that I haven't heard, but not sure about the negative review.

Funny, I had trouble finding one in my collection too.
I just checked for Avenged Sevenfold, only two albums from them were reviewed here, you could just review another. People usually don't like them (I'm one of these people, maybe you're one too?)

What about Celtic Frost's Cold Lake? I don't remember seeing it reviewed here.

Actually, Cold Lake was reviewed here. They gave it an extremely low score.
