What the... they opened for Iron Maiden? Thats a pretty retarded lineup. Who's bright idea was it to have a metalcore/emo band open for classic heavy metal? Whatd they really expect to happen in this situation?

For the record, I think Buller for my Valentine is a pretty good band as metalcore bands go. Just not anywhere near the same audience as Iron Maiden.

Ha. I saw this tour and I didn't know these guys opened until weeks after the show. Seriously, they must have played for 3/4 empty and completely indifferent crowd. Christ, when I saw them on the Give me Ed Till I'm dead tour in '03 they brought Motorhead and Dio along. They really down graded for this one.

Whiners. If I had a band and we opened for Maiden, I'd probably start chanting 'MAIDEN' on stage as well.

Full of British heavy metal? Go suck dick, wanker.

You have just made yourself public enemy No 1

I think the album is great. Way better than Dance of Death.

I look forward to seeing Bullet For My Valetine at Wacken this year. Will probably be really interesting, worse than seeing Deathstars as support to Dissection

I'm pretty sure its because they're with the same management company, same with Funeral for a friend a few years back.

I think Iron Maiden should do themselves a favour and stop inviting shit bands to open for them. I think Arch Enemy was the best decision they've made so far. I'm sure there are many talented bands in England who can give BFMV a run for their money. Maybe it's just Maiden's tactics so that they can have their fans at full blast during their set.

They probably don't care or don't have much of a say what bands tour with them...

I think part of BFMV's problem is they get on the cover and lots of column inches in Kerrang! (and no, I don't know where they take the column inches or what position) and because they think Kerrang! is a serious Metal magazine they believe all the fawning drivel that gets written about them by what appears to be pre-pubescent fan-boys. Or so I am told seeing as I never, ever read Kerrang! I was chuffed to fuck when they got kicked off the Rob Zombie tour. they should have been grateful they were on the tour instead of whining that they didn't get nice dressing rooms. Methinks their 'Overnight Success' happened too quick, not the usual 5 or 6 years it usually takes. I've listened to some of their stuff, it's okay but nothing you've not really heard before, kinda Trivium Jr. Oh, and their Welsh by the way, and on that subject I'm saying nothing!!!!!!

Slough Feg would be cool as well. One of my buds was at the Quebec City date and said the crowd was brutal toward them.

Little known fact. Deathstars guitarist Nightmare Industries is Jon Nodveits brother.

Iron Maiden doesn't need an opening band.

Maybe the crappy kiddie-metal bands are just to get the crowd angry so they'll have lots of energy when Iron Maiden comes on stage. The vast difference in quality would make the Iron Maiden show even more satisfying.
