How many new tracks are they including in the album?

Dio is a person who rarely disappoints anyone. THE most consistent musician I've known.

Yep. And then hopefully we'll get a new studio album at some point thereafter.

I like it a lot. I'm thankful that they went back and revisited their classic sound from the early 80's. Not that much of a Dehumanizer fan.

I'm seeing Heaven and Hell live in March :dio:

Awesome track... You know, it's ironic that a guy named Dio is singing in a band called Black Sabbath...

Uh...did you mean Heaven And Hell?

No, I mean Black Sabbath. Despite whatever copyright shit Sharon is doing, it's still Black Sabbath.
And it's ironic because BS have known entanglements with satanism, and dio means god in italian.

The "Mob Rules" line-up of Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Ronnie James Dio and Vinny Appice are currently preparing a world tour. Rather than using the Black Sabbath name (as the original line-up is still officially in place), they will be called "Heaven & Hell," after the first Dio-era album.

Iommi owns the rights to the name Black Sabbath, not Ozzy or Sharon.

Oh, he does? Didn't know that... Oh yeah, duh... all the albums like Dehumanizer were named Sabbath... stupid me.

Is Singapore included in their dates? We've been hearing rumours about it.

The US tour kicks off right here in Phoenix, Arizona and I AM THERE! Gonna get my tix this weekend when they go on sale.

This is like a dream come true for me. The new song sounds great and I'm hoping for a full-length release in 2008!

I don't think Bill's comfortable doing non-original lineup Sabbath stuff anymore. This way sort of makes sense anyway, Vinny did play on more Dio/Sabbath albums than Bill.

Bill Ward was originally announced as the drummer, but bailed out when it became clear this tour was so well recieved. I heard it's for health issues, nothing serious, but enough that he doesn't want to commit to a lengthy world tour. Age-wise, Appice is a spring chicken compared to Bill.

Man....that songs kicks ass!! :dio: Ronnie James sounds 'kin great! I really like the lumbering gigantic feel to the tune. I'll definitely buy the "Best of" when it's released in April. They say they're going to release a live CD/DVD of the current "Heaven and Hell" Tour this Fall 2007.

What a return to greatness with RJD!! :dio:

Old. Haha. I would have to assume that drumming is probably fairly tough for drummers who don't age well—especially with things like arthritis and just normal joint wear-and-tear over the years.
