Great news, but holy fuck I still have a load of 2006 albums to listen to. I still haven't heard the new Amon Amarth, Dream Evil, Heavenly, Elvenking (have mercy on me, metalNESS...)....

For the top dissapointments; is #1 the least dissapointing or the most dissapointing?

What do you mean? It'll go by votes; the album with the most votes is the most disappointing of 2006. You don't need to list yours in order.

Oh, so there's no ranking? Okay, and you vote for the most dissapointing albums, not the best dissapointing albums.

Haha! What the hell?

Just in case you or anyone else is still confused, number 1 would be the album that disappointed you the most this year, then number 2 and so on.

OK, the following is a list of votes that need to be modified. If you see your name, please change your vote before January 5th. If not, it will be disregarded and/or deleted. Also, this is merely an attempt to clean up the voting threads before we count (manually), so please don't make a big deal if you disagree with the classification, etc.

Here they are, in no particular order:

following the reaper - Anaal Nathrakh needs to go in black, She Said Destroy needs to go in avant-garde.

grandbazaar - You voted for Daylight Dies twice. Please delete your vote in dark/gothic.

Dago - Melechesh is not available worldwide until January, and therefore is not eligible.

rio and The Silent Man - Trollfest, ala Finntroll, is folk/black/??, go ahead and put it in avant-garde, it just doesn't fit very well in death.

kei - Amorphis needs to go in dark/gothic, one of the toughest to classify, but many others have already voted for it there.

Metalhead_Bastard - I cannot find any evidence that the Metallica album you voted for even exists, so please delete.

babylonianforest - Dissection and Bal Sagoth need to go in death metal. Also, that Pentagram album is a compilation, not a new album, please delete it.

Please PM me if you see others. Those I've requested changes to so far have been very helpful (thanks!), so please keep the trend going. Seeing as we have to manually tally everything, we are shooting for the awards to be posted on 1/15.
