United Abominations? Well it's not really a BAD title, but I agree Mustaine should have got something better. I'm excited it's gonna sound something like TSHF and RIP. But I think it's best we wait and listen for ourselves. I remember how St. Anger was supposedly 'back to their roots' material. Total fuck up. Maybe they should just release samples for us to judge. Nevertheless, I can't wait. Mustaine rarely fails.

My guess is it's a play on UNITED NATIONS...i.e instead of United Nations it's United Abominations. With the way things are right now in the world, some nations are abominations!!

Ack. I didn't think of that. this titel just went fro bad to worse. :) Hopefully it will be a good album, I liked The System Has Failed, but I wish it had been a little heavier.

Rust in Peace is probably my favourite album ever. [/info]

Well I don't think R.I.P is that bad a title, it rolls off the tongue and goes well with the lyrics, United Abominations is teh suck title.

I dont know what to expect about this, Dave has said things like that before, a return to form? what form? consistency is not one of Megadeth strong points, but if this happens to be a mix between RIP and CTE ill be a happy man.

Oh, I thought the title sounded very metal, in the 80's vein.. It just raised my expectations :D And now that someone explained the meaning I even get the reason behind the title!

I hope the music fits the title. I mean, United nations is so fucked up, I hope the music is pissed off enough. :evil:
