I would suggest Stefan Berggren from Razorback or Nils Patrik Johansson from Astral Doors. Either would fit well.

Johansson already had three bands.

So? Hahaha.

I ment has. Has three bands. He is in Space Odyssey, Wuthering Heights, and Astral Doors.

He's not in Space Odyssey anymore.

Nigga what?

Since when? They just released a new album.

Well, he's on The Astral Episode, but I swear I read he's not in Space Odyssey anymore. Maybe I'm confusing myself after this guy Göran Edman re-did some Space Odyssey songs (and made them worse, mind you) on that The Ultimate Andersson Collection CD. I may be mistaken, though, Göran Edman is now singing for Time Requiem, maybe that's what I was thinking?

I like all his solo albums and The Battle. Very good. I think The Duke is much heavier than his past albums, but there's still a lot of AOR mixed in.

The Battle took up a good few months of my life, the best melodic rock album i've heard for....well ever. Its in my top 5 albums ever, buy that one my friend.

Michael Kiske. :D

Seriously, him and Grapow get along pretty well, so I'd hope they at least consider it.

Kiske's new solo album proves yet again that Kiske sucks ass at writing his own music, and should stick with a band scenario. Masterplan would be great for him.

I though Kiske quit "metal" after Suppared. He has a unique voice, but he needs a great band to shine, as you say.

Thats bad news, i hope the band can continue.

As a replacement, what about Daniel Heiman from Lost Horizon/Crystal Eyes?

don't you think Heed is good?... I'd like him to do a second Heed cd instead of joining Masterplan... this band is soooooo boring...

NP
Erik Truffaz "Face-A-Face"
(brilliant nu-jazz, sometimes really powerful... guitars included)

Every band Heiman joins, improves immensly. Look at Lost Horizon's last album and even Crystal Eyes last album was much better than their others. What better way to replace a unique and awesome voice like Lande, with yet another unique and awesome voice like Heiman's

like you said Lande has an amazing unique voice and yet nothing that good came from Masterplan... I don't want another good singer's talent wasted on this band :? so I say, go with Kiske... he's friend with Grapow and his solo stuf is shite (Place Vendome was alright, quite good AOR) so we don't risk much with Kiske joining.... plus it'll give MASTERPLAN a lil' something fruity that could be nice... :D agreed ? 8)

I totally agree... on both parts. I have never really been a fan of Masterplan and I think if Kiske were to join up there might be some kind of chemistry between him and Grapow.

Also, I honestly don't think Heiman was the reason for Lost Horizon's success. Wojtek doesn't get enough credit.

Well i'm a big fan of Masterplan and I don't think Kiske would fit, even less Heiman. I'm hoping to see the band late in the summer at Monsters Of Rock(saddly without Lande) and the best fit would be Russell Allen, at least until the band could find a permanent singer. They better not drop out of the fest.

I don't think his voice fits and I think Masterplan had a damn good pairing with the music and Jorn's voice. They should seek a similar vocalist.

I've been listening to Last Tribe a lot lately, and I think the singer for that group sounds kind of Landeish/Allenish.

It's pretty good, very neo-proggy so some of the time changes can kind of be like road bumps, but his vocals are still badass!
