Tony Moore or Midnight would probably be the only acceptable substitutes.

Both would be great choices - if they can deliver like they did back in the day, that is.

Iuri Sanson from Hibria would be the best if they were going for somebody like Heiman.

If they took him they would so obviously be settling for a Heiman clone that it would be extremely embarassing to the band.

i fucking love this band, every time i listen to them i just think whats the point in me being in a power metal band. It already been perfected. I honestly think nothing will ever beat those two albums bar a heiman come back. Every song they're done is just unbelievably good.

If Midnight would lay off the Meth, that is.

The only way for them to keep Danny was to let him in on the songwriting and, uh, has anyone heard those Heed demo tracks from last year? So I'd rather Lost Horizon with a lesser singer than Lost Horizon with a world class singer and diminished music.

I don't think they can be as good without him as he is more or less the complete metal singer. Shame he wants to wate his talent...did anyone else have the misfortune of seeing him perform with Those We Don't Speak of at Sweden Rock '70? A sad day for metal.

Exactly.

Yeah, his recent DUI mugshot seems to back this up.

Right, well since Daniel Heiman has shitty musical tastes, and Midnight is a meth addict, that leaves Tony Moore, who would have been my choice anyway. Lost Horizon's music reminds me a lot of Thundersteel era Riot. Tony Moore's vocals would fit perfectly, he also seems like he could be easily controlled, if he did have some input we'd get another disaster like Riot's Privilege of Power album, what the fuck was with all the horns. Who knows, maybe that stupid horn shit could be changed to synths on a Lost Horizon album. Either way, it would be awesome to hear.

I'm not sure Moore has the same pipes he did in his prime. Not going by the Faith and Fire songs I heard anyway.

Can't find a clip on YouTube Nessie, but they were covering an apparently well-known Deftones song. The stuff of nightmares.
