If I had to choose a favourite band out of all the popular rock stuff, I think mine would have to be Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Not that I'd listen to a whole album, but they have a lot of songs I like.

Radiohead is a bit of a different kettle of fish to Foo Fighters/Nickelback/RHCP etc. though...

Best poppy heavy rock band is The Wildhearts, of course!! :D

Foo Fighter then.
I like some RHCP but none of their albums is a pleasant listen from start to finish.

RCHP are good in small dosis, but each song is a hit/miss for me... I can listen to songs, but not a full album.

Foo Fighters >>> Nickelback, but It's similar case to RHCP.

Exactly, no way I'll listen to a full album of theirs, just their singles mostly.
