That's actually a pretty cool album cover, and apparently it ends with a 9 minute long instrumental, which I'm waiting to hear...

I think it's only natural for some metalcore bands to pull away from the hardcore side of things and begin to move toward a complete metal spectrum. We'll see how Trivium does, if those fucking screams are gone I may give this one a shot (when the reissue comes out, of course).

The album cover actually looks pretty silly for some reason. It should look cool...

The album cover is fitting for a band that is bravely stepping out on a heroic quest to revive old-school metal. You know, like Trivium are. Fuck trends and that shit this is for real.

The song isn't that bad, actually is quite good, and this band is quite ok. I just don't like when the singer is trying to make a Blink 182 impression. But considering their age, which is my age almost, they really make some nice songs.

@Zad-Evile blatantly ripped off Metallica and had Hetfield impression vocals, yet Trivium aren't allowed to do it?

(Zad likes Evile, as do I)

Evile are absolutely fucking teh awesome, but All Hallow's Eve was very blatantly a lost Metallica demo, haha. The hell demo shopwed them garnering a heavier style and it rocks.

You ask a lot of rhetorical-like questions. What's the point? Obviously he's standing in something, not on. If I were to guess I'd say it was snow.

Do you like any bands?

Yep, including Trivium

And then a whole bunch of black metal bands, a fair few folk-metal and pm bands, and a limited selection of doom and death metal bands. And some avant-garde stuff here and there.

Would you like me to start a "Post your collection" Thread?

Also, for all your talk of never starting fights, you just did try and start one

Then, please, discuss them. I'd rather hear what people like rather than what they think is "teh suxors." And I know I'm not the only one.

I absolutely did not. I can do a far better job than that, if it were my intention.

I gave an honest opinion of the song way back, but it was buried under a multi-page flamewar :(

I mean, its not bad, but Triviums first album pisses on Ascendancy. (They dropped their tuning for Ascendancy, i wish they had stuck to what they had on Ember to Inferno)

Aaaaah, I'm with Eyesaw here. What the hell? You're even an elitest or whatever with fucking metalcore! I hate that shit, "I prefer the album you won't have heard because I am superior, mwuahahaha. It's not the music, it's the tuning. I post in a thread where I will either start and argument or give no valuable input. The music I listen to is much more sophisticated than you. Teh pwn and such."

PS. i sill like you, but im on my period

I like small fonts!

As for which Trivium is better, not sure. What I've heard from Ascendancy I liked...musically. The screams kill it for me. As for the tuning, I really didn't notice a difference.

Basically, that was a flamewar stopper thing, and if it was big ruined the main post.
