Lemmy is featured in the June 2006 issue of Maxim magazine as one of the top 10 "Living Legends of Sex." Also appearing in the issue are Jack Nicholson, Julio Iglesias, Gene Simmons, Charlie Sheen and Magic Johnson, among others.

A bit cruel, no?

Yeah, I've got that issue of Maxim at home. I thought the same thing when I first saw it, but then again, the guy has claimed to have played hide the salami with thousands upon thousands of women, so.....

But back to Motorhead. There are not many things in this world that I really look forward to, but a new Motorhead record is damn sure one of them.

"Trick question asshole, Lemmy is God!"

Didn't Motorhead already do a song called R.A.M.O.N.E.S. once?

Indeed. It's probably a bonus live track.

God Was Never On Your Side is a cool song title.

I read once in a mag, can't remember which, Lemmy claimed that Motorhead was never a metal or punk or rock band. They were just plain heavy blues. And it seems he dislikes metal. When asked what's he listening to at the moment on his iPod, he listed some bands and said that Evanescence is a very good band. :?

Anyway, I think Motorhead's latest is gonna be smashing. Can't wait.

Lemmy saying that doesn't surprise me. They really are more Blues based than Metal when you really think about it. I think sometimes people automatically equate heavy distortion with Metal.

You're right there. They always sounded more blues to me. But on the other hand, it is extremely raw blues. I'd still prefer them labeled rock. If I'm not mistaken Lemmy uses a distorted bass. No what's blues about that?

Progressive blues? Nah....more like 'in-your-face-shithead' blues. Heard the lyrics for 'God Save the Queen'?

I find it hard to get excited about a new Motorhead album because I know what it'll sound like and what sort of songs will be on it nine months in advance.

Eh, I already have like ten of their albums, who needs more than that?

Uuuuh yeah.....? They don't have much to do with Motorhead though.

Isn't that the Sex Pistols, anyway? I know Motorhead covered it, but...

God Save the Queen is a Sex Pistols song.

Lemmy is an awesome lyricist, though.
