Bit of everything hopefully, Never been able to align myself with a subgenre. If it rocks I'll listen to it!

Loving Arch Enemy (didn't think much of doomsday machine though) and Children of Bodom at the moment.

They were once two great bands but now they lost a little bit of credit, at least for me.

I know where you're coming from, but it happens to almost all. There are so few bands that have gained popularity but at the same time have stayed true to what made them so great. (metallica anyone?)
I choose to enjoy the music I enjoyed in the first place and ignore the garbage that will inevitably surface when a band becomes more mainstream.
A band will only play for so long before a member says 'screw this, we've payed our dues, now let's make some money'. It's sad that it happens but on the most part it's an inevitability.

I think you should join as an archive/classics reviewer... so you could stop complaining and show us all what you're capable of ! :wink:
