Gonna have to give it a chance. Even after all the crap he's put out, a good album with Chris Cornell singing on it is worth holding out hope for.

Looking forward to the album and the review! I'm curious whether they can make a comeback as succesful as Alice in Chains did with Black Gives Way to Blue.

I think they can do better.

i was so skeptical when i heard about black gives way to blue back in 08. but was blown away by it. out of all the bands that came out of the early nineties aic and soundgarden are the only ones i took with me. they both still get bi weekly spins. if soundgarden can even come close to what aic did as far as a comeback is concerned its gonna be a amazing album.

i was a total fan boy for cornell back in the day. after soundgarden split i mostly gave up. i did buy the great expectations soundtrack for "sunshower" though. i like that song. but audioslave aside from 2 songs does nothing for me.

anyway im totally excited for new soundgarden.
