I'd really like Auquiles to be their choice. I think he's a good fit and that he's got great skill. Plus he could bring a little latino influence to their music which could be interesting.

Not a fan of how they seem to be docking points if the drummer does any interpretation when playing DT songs. But anyways, these things are an incredibly cheesy and awesome watch.

Eeeh, not surprised. Mangini seems like a good fit. I know someone who's taking lessons with him, and apparently Mangini was pretty tight-lipped about the whole thing.

No real surprise his name has been coming up a lot as the new drummer, they should have announced it months ago before it got out.

either way i am completely supportive of this decision. mangini seems like a great guy and just as outgoing as portnoy. this will be a great addition to the band.
