Yo. I am now officially active in the forums. I'm also not any Steve anyone knows from here or anywhere. I've been reading the site for a couple of years and applied to be a reviewer when the call went out. I love the reviews on the site because it seems like a of stuff gets covered here that doesn't get covered anywhere else. IDK, at least for me, it's a great place to discover new music. Now, if you really want to talk, I am about to go kick off a thread on the new Grand Magus album.

I love writing reviews and have been at it for a while. I have a bit of an abrasive personality, but I try to see all things objectively and find the good in them, so if I really don't like something, I will have a perfect explanation why.

I curse a lot and use weird phrases like "balls awesome" or "fuggin gnarl". But with a genre like heavy metal which can never take itself too seriously, i try and do the same thing: take it as seriously as it needs.
