I didn't even know they got rid of their last drummer. Man, these guys were good live. I hope to see them again some day, maybe the Kansas show.

Awesome groove, he plays 3 measures of 7/8 followed by one measure of 11/8, if my ear is not mistaken. This adds upto 7+7+7+11=32, this is just as much as 4 measures of 4/4. Awesome.

Sweet. The first three are definitely7/8, but I really can't tell what the fourth measure is. My first reaction was 9/8, but I really don't know. I was looking at some of the other videos of him on there. That's some sick drumming. :dio:

Yeah, I might head on down to the Seattle show. Necrophagist are really due for a new album, they've been touring for this one for like a billion years. They're fun to see live though just because seeing a small geeky guy play death metal is always fun :]

I think that super-complex musicianship is a lot more fun to watch than to listen to 90% of the time.
