Tony Martin was terrible. I could never dig on his vocals. Of course, I've heard people tell me he's an amazing vocalist so maybe I'm missing something.

I couldn't agree with you more. I bought a greatest hits with Martin on vocals and could'nt stand it. I then went out and bought a album with Martin on vocals (can't remember which one, cause I got rid of it) and I think he is horrible. Plus I love the Ozzy Sabbath, well only everything up to Sabotage and even some songs on that are not very good. But everything before that is awesome, Black Sabbath is such a great driving cd. Just crank it and drive.

Martin made good albums with Sabbath, especially Headless Cross, Eternal Idol and Tyr, I prefer him to Ozzy.

he sounds like Dio to me. He has another good album with Rondellini I think it is called? I think he kicks ass and Ozzy is horrid. I like Ozzy Sabbath songs though, just not whole albums, the is why something like Sold our Souls for Rock and Roll is all you need.

Well thats your opinion, and I still think that Martin is no good. I like my Sabbath with Ozzy or Dio or maybe Ian Gillan... :D And I have tried to listen to that greatest hits I have and I can't. I will listen to Paranoid or Master of Reality or Black Sabbath any day over any Martin album.

How's his solo album? I never heard it...

Pretty good.

I really dig the Martin-era of Black Sabbath.

By the by, I'm pretty sure Bill Ward has said he doesn't want anything to do with a non-original line-up Sabbath again, so I doubt this tour will happen.

"Heaven & Hell" is one badass tune! I still don't own a single Black Sabbath album on CD!

C'mon! With all the bargains you find I'd think it would be nothing for you to get at least one!

The only Tony Martin song I've heard is Headless Cross, and that song is pretty damn good, I've got nothing bad to say about his vocal performance in it either, fucking great!

Got to pick that album up some day :)

Same here. I think Headless Cross is a great tune. Martin did a good job.
