Being a black metal fan I can safely say that I enjoy Behemoth's death era better. Their black era was good but nothing special, albums like Demigod are really special for me.

Agreed, their Death Metal era are far better than their BM side. There is only one word for it and that is: Matured.

Oh and guys, in case you didn't know, you need balls to listen to DM. So, yeah...! one thing that Husker doesn't have.

I wish they would go back to playing black metal

I guess i will still check this out, even though i have the 'Slaves Shall Serve' ep, and i dont like it thaaaaaat much.

Even though i liked their BM releases like Grom and basically all of them i dont think they can even be compared with their later works in terms of musicianship, songwriting, production and awesomeness.

+1 on Dago's comment on production. Their earlier stuff were pretty badly produced. Do you know, I've not even finished listening to their earlier stuff? I'm still trying to accustom myself to listen to badly produced records. But as far as production goes, I think it's a better Behemoth for the future. Plus, I actually think their musicianship and songwritting is improving. If they had stuck to plain Black Metal, I think they wouldn't have been this successful. By goin Death Metal, I believe they've diversified they're sound.

And by the way, this is good news.

I just cant get into death metal......i dont know why..........sometimes i cry myself to sleep it hurts so much

It's perfectly alright;to each his own eh?While I absolutely love death metal(preferably tech orientated),I dislike people calling others names just because they do not necessarily like something they do.There is no loss of machismo, nothing less human.Granted, some people find insults and negative jokes at anothers expense a way of getting along, having a "good" time, finding happiness etc.,as a means of overcomming their inability to put their feelings and affections into words.

Aaaaanyway, putting away the psychiatric schoolbooks and other nonsense. When I first read the news on their official page,I was way stoked.I mean,Behemoth of course kick insane amounts of ass!But I really want a new cd,and to read more of Nergal's fascinating experiences and song meanings/origins.I for one enjoy their similarity and friendship with Nile,as I probably have made painfully obvious I love them(purely as a fan mind you).I can't get enough Nile, and there really isn't anyone esle that does the same thing,so Behemoth are right up my ally.I still love Behemoth for their own quirks and unique traits.

And I seriously envy Nergal for his little "expedition" in Nepal.I love that country, and is one of my dream destinations. He is a very creative individual, and I can't wait to hear what he has in store.I personally am hoping for a cross between Demigod and Zos Kia Cultus, with some nice elements of the Kali Cult thrown in for good measure.

Looking forward to this as well. Another one of my favorite bands.
