Every day is a Metal day for me, I certainly don't need a stupid "symbolic" meaning of numbers on my calendar for it to be.

Fuck Yahoo. Help the Commie bastards in China block off the internet, would you? :x

Anyways, Pandora is more than metal enough for me. For REAL metal radio, get over to www.darksoul7.net peeps.

So what should we expect from this great and dreadful day? Plenty of marketing, for a start. The remake of The Omen is being released. In response to the US National Day of Prayer, the heavy metal band Slayer have announced a National Day of Slayer, printing 666 limited edition T-shirts to mark the occasion.

Local clubs and venues are celebrating in their own way. The heavy metal band Viking Skull are playing in London, with tickets priced at £6.66.

Yes, all Britain can manage is bloody Viking Skull playing. Pathetic.

Slayer aren't even that Satanic, for goodness' sake! If it was a National Day Of Nunslaughter...

But I'm playing some Destruction now, in honour of this glorious day.

Edit: Woohoo! Pandora just served up some Aeon! Who needs Yahoo and its smelly rubbish?

Yes, they played metal on that day as well! Funny how it unites us all, eh?

Blasphemer! If you don't spend this holy day watching Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir videos (truly, the most evil of bands) then you're simply not a true metalhead!

If anyobody cares, I had a terrible headache on the "glorious day" as I had a nasty exam the day before... all I managed to listen during the day were some songs from Candlemass' s/t cd. In the evening, though, I dug out A Blaze In The Northern Sky... hadn't been spinning it for quite a while, awesome listen as usual.
