We all got one... Even though we don't know why, we all got one.

It stucked to me lately, reading an interview with Timo Kotipelto. The interviewer and Kotipelto kept telling their dislike for the last Stratovarius album: "Stratovarius".

And I'm like...."Stop saying that, I LOVE THIS RECORD !!!" A matter of fact, it's my favourite Strato record of all time, and I pretty much have them all (except Episode).

And you know what, if fans and reviewers would have loved "Stratovarius", I'm pretty sure Kotipelto and Tolkki would go on record saying they like the album.

Anyway, it's the record that I love, that everyone else hate !

What's yours ? I'm sure you got one ! :D

Darkthrone - Goatlord.

A lot of people accuse Darkthrone for doing a money-grab by releasing this old rehearsal tape at the height of the Scandinavian BM boom, and a lot of people consider it musically inferior to ABitNS, but i think it has some truly great songs (not to mention great vocals and instrumental work.)

I'm not sure how bad this will make me look but here it goes:

I too like the "Load" twins and "Stratovarius" but here's some others that I've heard people complain about.........

Angra : Aurora Concergens
Arch Enemy : Doomsday Machine
Bullet For My Valentine : The Poison
Children Of Bodom : Are You Dead Yet?
Cradle Of Filth : Any
Disturbed : Any
Evanescence : Fallen
Evergrey : Monday Morning Apocolypse
H. I.M. : any
The Haunted: the Dead Eye
Lacuna Coil : KarmaCode
Rage : Speak Of The Dead
Iron Maiden : AMOLAD ( I know not entirely despised but plenty of people have expressed their displeasure with this...including myself upon first listening to it.)

Everyone complains about Ghost Reveries, but I really like it. It's the only Opeth album I like, actually

I love it too. Don't see what the fuss is. Hammond-styled keyboards slay kvltists, clearly.

Agreed with Now, Diabolical - has enough going for it to be worthy of better than it received.

Edguy - Rocket Ride

Agreed. Neither album could be called black metal I don't think but both are awesome.

Tristwood - Delphic Doctrine
Dimmu Borgir - Puritannical Euphoric Misanthropia
SYL-SYL
Megadeth - Cryptic Writings
Type O Negative - Life is Killing Me

Mine would be

Black Sabbath - Dehumanizer, and all the albums that I have heard that have Tony Martin in it. (Forbidden included. Love that album)

Megadeth - Youthanasia, Cryptic Writings

The others which I wouldn't say I love, but like a lot.

Slayer - God Hates Us All

Metallica - S/t
