The title says it all. What was, IYHO, the flat-out worst album of 2006?

It was alright, stop being kvltists. As for the actual worse, there was some shitty Italian nu-metal revivalist thing I had to review. Convergence, or something. Dreadful load of bollocks.

I can't remeber what it was called, but it was an lp from haste that i got given to me by record store in town. they give me stuff that isn't selling and this year there were some stinkers (they did give me the newest motorhead though) but haste definatly took the proverbial cake.

K(orn)atatonia.

or at least the worst thing I had to listen to more than once.

Runner up goes to Disillusion - Gloria, but that album had the benefit of shocking me so much I couldn't really judge it on quality.

I was curious about that after hearing the previous album was good, so I downloaded a track. Bloody hell... :omfg:

Glad I'm not the only one that felt that way. It never ceases to amaze me how overrated the past two Krapatonia albums have been. If they didn't have the past they had and say they were American, everyone would dismiss them as some second-rate nu-metal band.

Yeah, I heard it because Viva Emptiness entertained me when I was first getting into metal, didn't pay much attention and thought it was OK. Then it took me until like the end of summer to bother listening to it again and I thought it was terrible, I reallly don't get why people still seem to like them...

I just realized I've only heard their first 2 albums and their last 2, are the middle ones worth looking in to?

The middle ones are definitely better than their last two, but I consider their first albums their creative peak.

New Haunted was pretty good, imho. And Katatonia rule.
