Best Cover of all Time

So what do you folks think is the best cover ever done? Also, covers which are better than original songs. I bring it up because I recently really got turned on to the song Mad World by Gary Jules. It was recorded for the movie Donnie Darko, and here's a music video if you don't know it.

And of course Stratovarius' covering Scorpions' "Black Out"

hmmm, for me there's a few. Megadeth - Paranoid is awesome. Children of Bodom - Rebel Yell is sick too. Oh! and shit...i forgot the name of the band but they do a cover of Deep Purple - Burn, which is ultra awesome.

Yeah, that's the song from the "Gears of War" commercial. I liked it so much I put the album on my lala.com want list. People must be looking to get rid of it, cause I got a notice saying it's on the way the very same day.

Yeah thats a great cover song! I think my favorite cover song might be Sweet Dreams by Marilyn Manson.

Although I hate Nevermore I must admit their Love Bites cover is great and very original (as original as a cover can be anywayz

). But the all time mega cover that mops the floor with all other covers in history is...

Here's a list of my personal favs

Type O Negative - Black Sabbath

Megadeth - Paranoid

Bruce Dickinson - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

Faith No More - War Pigs. A pretty fun track.

Marilyn Manson - Sweet Dreams.

I feel all the Black Sabbath tracks I listed are better than the original. In fact, TONs version of Black Sabbath is one of my favourite tracks of all time.
