Despite their surprising brevity, I find a lot of his reviews quite amusing. Especially the "Tribute To Lake Of Tears," Far Beyond Driven, and Cannibal Corpse reviews.

Reading the review of Reign in Blood I thought the guy ahd some taste until I saw this:

No offense, but that guy is no different than most of you that post here. Most people that post here shit on 99% of the music people try to discuss.

"This is the point where Death veered off course. I don't know if Chuck felt he had to seek validation as being a credible musician in death metal or what, but things took a definite turn for the worse when Death became less about the songs and more about the playing. All this technical bullshit started creeping in and not a damn one of the tunes can hold a candle to anything on Leprosy. And his voice went to shit too.

Wank, wank and more wank. Pat yourself on the back a little more. You can play a solo. You can make tight breaks. Big deal. The riffs go nowhere. The songs go nowhere. That would be ok if they at least entertained me where they were at.

The Philosopher was the big MTV hit off of the album. And by "big MTV hit" I mean that MTV played the vid several times on Headbangers Ball. Not even that overt repetition alongside bands like Poison and Warrant could make it look good enough to me to be memorable.

This was Death making the transition from being artists to being musicians. Unfortunate."
