I love youtube!
Here are live videos from two coverbands I highly recommend... In some ways they sound BETTER than the originals these days.
The first one is Alcoholica - Blackened, that level of intensity and tightness is not something I've heard from Metallica in many years. The other one is Fortune - Walk in the Shadows, man that guy almost nail the voice of Geoff Tate.. It even sounds better than Geoff himself today.

Yeah, that Fortune guy was pretty good. But to me it sounded more like he was just mimicking Tate rather than having actually the same amount of talent. Of course he
can sing though!

Cool. Jamez played damn perfectly those drums!

Lars was like a stageborn rockstar

He got all the manners nailed, it was almost like he'd been just waiting for this moment

(Even though they said they've done it once b4)

I watched the two first ones. Well, he can surely play, that solo to Behind Blue Eyes was superb! Few shredders can actually play with emotion rather than just shred. Unfortunately none of the other stuff on those vids was of much interest. Kickass guitar sound though! \m/
The guy on the vid plays git on at least this band:

It's melodic death. Not sure if it's him, but the solo on the first song sounds like it. Other than that, seems like fairly average band, not bad though.
