what are good acoustic songs that are easy to play and to sing to? I love doing this occasionally and i usually play stuff by the eagles, beatles, bob dylan...

right now i'm playing Cry Me A River from Zakk's Pride and Glory. Any song suggestions would be appreciated...

Replica!

Half-joking, but it actually somewhat fits your request :)

LED ZEPPELIN - Tangerine

Try this one. It's quite easy cause it's based on the basic chords with a little of figerpicking. And the chorus is really beautiful :)

I would say The Scientist by Coldplay. It is a good song, and fairly easy to learn.
Sitting, Waiting, Wishing by Jack Johnson. But, then again, it may not be that easy; I don't know. You may not even know who Jack Johnson is. Oh well.

Also: Is There Anybody Out There? by Pink Floyd.

I know who Jack Johnson is. I think his music is terrible. Fridge, why not learn to play some simple metal songs and make your own acoustic cover version? Im listening to katatonia now and im thinking it would be really easy to play a lot of depressive rock as an acoustic version.

Jack Johnson is hideously famous, I don't see why people here wouldn't have heard of him. Anyways, I'm not into any acoustic stuff really.
