CM Grab Bag

Anybody ever tried, or know anybody who tried the 'Century Media Grab Bag', wherein they send you 10 CM releases of their choosing for $25? I'm strongly considering trying it out. Is it worth it, do they send you the good stuff or the shit that sinks to the bottom?

That looks kind of neat. I'd try it if it wasn't like 45 bucks for canadians.

EDIT: On second thought, they only have like 30 or so artists listed on their website. if they're sending me 10 CDs out of that, that doesn't sound bad at all. I listen to almost all of the ones on the label

Nah, you'd probably get only CDs like Merauder and 454 Big Block and Stuck Mojo; all the older shit.

It's still worth a try IMO. Even if they send you crap, at least you'll know these are the bastards you should stay away from. It's just USD 25. It's four times the price over here.

Ehhh, Century Media signs a lot of shitty/mediocre/just plain bad bands these days. I'd approach that with extreme caution, at least a few of them are guaranteed to be garbage that the label is trying to promote. If they send you a Haste CD, save your ears and burn it immediately.

i ordered it a few months bck and this is what i recieved:

Iced earth- Horror show
Malevolent creation- Warkult
Unleashed- Demo collection
Stuck mojo- b-sides
Krisiun- Ageless venomous
Gorgoroth- Incipit satan

and then four other shitty metalcore cd's

all an all i considered it a good buy.
