What would be your pick for the best band to deliver a debut album this year?

Im pretty sure Celladoor will be a popular choice, but my pick goes to Blood Red Fog :dio:

Why does everyone waste the time asking for samples? Fuck! That irritates me. Just use Yahoo! or Google. The amount of time you spend going "got any samplez?" you could be typing the band name in Google and VOILA! Fucking samples. :lame:

Of course, it irritates me most because it's likely just false curiosity meant to make someone look like they care.

Cellador for me. Not much of a contest, since Enter Deception is the only CD from a new band I've bought this year.

Heh heh, just the irony of it after Ken's post...

I checked out that To-Mera band, and they are definitely pretty good but I'm not a huge fan of female vocals, and I still think Cellador is better.

And oh yeah, that Sleep Terror band is AMAZING but I don't have any of their CD's so I can't really say they're my favorite...

EDIT: I cant actually think of any band I checked out this year that was really new, other than Cellador.

Shaarimoth - Bunch of Nihilistic shitheads playing rather cool Eastern Death Metal. Think Morbid Angel playing Nile songs, but with less rage and more reverance for imaginary QuaOS goddesses. Bonkers, but fun.
