My vote was finland. Especially the city of Espoo. It must be the metal capital of the world because it produced children of bodom AND kiuas and I'm sure many more. |

I like many acts that are from sweden, such as Dark Tranquillity and Katatonia, but i'd have to say more bands from Finland have impressed me over the past few years. Their guitar style is very unique and distinctive and they have many virtuoso guitar players. They also write the catchiest guitar oriented stuff out there...well in general
