So none of us in my band can decide what we should be called but we've narrowed it down to two names, Daemon Hammer or Heathen Sword. Can you help us decide?!!

Although I am not inclined to either particularly, I still voted for Heathen Sword. If you had to specify a genre, what type of music are you based in? Or, if you have trouble saying, then what do you sound like?

Power metal, our lyrics are about slaying daemons and killing heritics set in the year 40000 (based on warhammer, like bolt thrower)

Hammers and Swords are overused. Maybe THE MACE OF MOLAG BAL!? That's actually from Elder Scrolls 4, so that would be copywrite infringement, I'm sure.

I agree with ElTipo, hammers and swords are so cliche these days. I think a band name should be original, sound cool and actually have a meaning.
I always imagined if i ever form a band my name pick would be something from mythology, like the slavic god of thunder Perun or maybe a cool folk word. :D
