Wow that is amazingly close. I sort of doubt they would copy Tom Petty intentionally, I think this is another case just like Offspring some years back, who had a song with a similair vocal melody to a Beatles song. Proably just a coincidence, but you never know I guess. Neither of those songs are worth a shit anyway. |

Yes it is and pretty much everywhere else on the net. Yeah it is quite similar, but it isnt enough to convict a band like RHCP because that riff construction and way of singing is said to be pretty common, so it can be found similar with other songs as well. Or so I've heard. |
